Bentham Open Science collaborates with various service providers to help authors develop animated atlases and videos in medicine and science, to produce professional animated abstracts of articles. Animated abstracts that are published as open access (free-to-view), help summarize and highlight the essential discoveries/key findings of the research. Each Animated Abstract is professionally produced, in a fully colored video format (length 3-5 minutes) and is accompanied by English or foreign language commentary.
Authors can avail this service for a fee to get the animated abstract published with the textual/graphical abstract on the Journal's homepage.

Authors who have published articles in Bentham Open Science journals are invited to submit their graphical abstract or scientific artwork for consideration to be placed on the cover of a Bentham Open Science journal. The use of artwork is subject to the peer-review process and subsequent acceptance from the Editorial Board of the journal.
